Project Background
Liesch was retained to prepare forty-six properties for demolition ranging from industrial, retail, apartments and residential houses on a thirty-acre site in Richfield, Minnesota. The project required balancing the needs of construction/demolition contractors, redevelopment schedules, and property acquisition schedule including the City’s requirements.
Scope of Work
Liesch conducted asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous/special waste surveys within the forty-six affected properties. Liesch provided project oversight, air monitoring, and documentation during abatement activities within the affected buildings and coordinated the asbestos abatement, lead stabilization and special/hazardous waste management/disposal prior to demolition.
