AST PERMITTING & INSTALLATION SERVICES
State and federal regulations govern the application procedures and conditions of major aboveground storage tank facilities. Our engineers can assist facilities with assessing whether a permit is required, preparation of a permit application, and compliance with a permit.
Our engineers can also assist with the design and installation of aboveground storage tank systems and secondary containment. This includes the design, preparation of plans and specifications, project bidding and contract administration, construction oversight, and final documentation.
SPCC PLAN SERVICES
At Liesch, we approach every project from our client’s perspective and develop SPCC plans that not only satisfy Federal Regulations, but also accommodate individual facility concerns. After completing your facility’s plan and assuring that it meets your needs and Federal Regulations, Our registered engineers review and certify it. We work with your facility manager to implement the plan in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additionally, at your request, Liesch personnel will update the plan every three years, which is also required under the Federal regulation.
The goals of a SPCC Plan are to prevent spills by documenting procedures, to provide methods for quick addressing spill occurances, and to reduce or eliminate fines from regulatory agencies. We have completed SPCC plans for service stations, convenience stores, maintenance facilities, municipalities, industrial sites, and bulk storage and fueling facilities. If additional work is required, our engineers have the expertise to supervise compliance activities, assess environmental impacts, design remediation and containment systems, and provide compliance training.
