John is a Principal and Professional Engineer with the firm, with 30 years of experience as a Project Manager on engineering design, site remediation, site assessment and environmental compliance projects. To best assist clients in these matters, he is certified and/or registered as an Environmental Site Assessor, a Groundwater Professional, and an Asbestos Inspector in select states throughout the U.S.
John primarily works with buyers, developers, lenders, lessees, and stockholders to address their needs concerning environmental site assessments projects and Brownfield developments. He has significant expertise and experience in Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, varying from open, undeveloped land to occupied commercial and industrial sites covering several square city blocks. He assists clients by completing soil/groundwater remediation, hazardous waste clean-up, tank-removals and remedial work at affected sites.
John also has significant management experience in assisting clients with all types of regulatory compliance issues, including closure, monitoring, site remediation, financial assurance and reimbursement programs.
John earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a Professional Engineer in 19 states. He is involved with the Air and Waste Management Association and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
