Michael has over 16 years of experience as a Project Manager at Liesch. He is a Co-Head of the Building Services group and has significant experience serving as a liaison between clients, contractors and regulatory and funding agencies. Michael primarily assists clients with demolition and pre-demolition services relating to asbestos management, special/hazardous waste, and lead assessments. Michael also represents clients needing management services in specification development, regulatory oversight of turnkey operations, industrial hygiene, and health and safety services.

In his role as Project Manager, Michael manages teams in assisting clients with building inspections prior to demolition. He directs Phase I environmental site assessments and generates reports to direct clients in the best manner to proceed. His services include asbestos surveys, lead-in-paint and lead-in-soil testing, development of operations and maintenance plans, specification development, budget development and regulatory oversight services. Additionally, Michael conducts indoor-air quality assessments, moisture management plans or assessments, and industrial hygiene monitoring.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Geology from St. Cloud State in Minnesota. He is currently registered and/or licensed as an asbestos inspector, asbestos management planner, asbestos contractor/supervisor, asbestos project designer, lead designer, and risk assessor. Michael is recognized by the Minnesota Department of Health as a qualified asbestos trainer and is radiation safety certified
